DT38 Launches 3.80 Funding Appeal to Help Secure Future
We have today launched an appeal for support following a tough period for our charity caused by COVID-19. For the past five years we have continued to support men and boys in the UK, Australia and elsewhere through educating them to protect themselves by checking for testicular cancer on the first of every month. It is more important than ever, during the Coronavirus outbreak, that males take notice of our campaign because our health services are so drastically stretched because of this terrible virus. Footballers Step Up for DT38's Check 1-Two Campaign
The second month of DT38's Check 1-Two campaign has taken place, led by footballers from Australia and the UK. Perth Glory goalkeeper Liam Reddy and Luton Town forward Elliot Lee both made films to encourage men to self-check their testicles on the first of every month from now on. A-League stopper Liam, accompanied by his children, insisted "there's never been a better time" for men to check themselves while Championship favourite Elliot - a close friend of Dylan Tombides at West Ham United - kept it simple with the messages "it could save your life" and "check your balls!".
